Today's camouflage is made up of computer designed squares arranged in a way corresponding with mathematical formulas to be the most effective in the environment they were chosen to be used in. The desert pattern is also a good pattern for urban areas as long as the colors are modified.

M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW)

The M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) is a lightweight combat machine gun that forms the basis for a team's firepower. The operator can use either 30-round M-16 magazines or preloaded 200-round plastic ammunition drums that can be linked together. The SAW is able to attack point targets at up to 800 meters and uses the improved NATO 5.56mm cartridge.
